  1. With this much white sand, how come nobody's around? How did Boracay out market this National Park beach? Or maybe Pinoys just like to think that Boracay is the best beach? Is the water not as nice as Bora? Air temp too cold? The place looks barren.
  2. Wow. Now I miss the beach 😞 ikaw kasi Do
  3. I love CVT and driven a CVT Starex many times. One smooth acceleration curve! What's your experience with the car's CVT? does it struggle?
  4. Loneliness is a choice on Valentine’s Day. This years Valentines Day celeb was the same with all the previous years. I chose to happy, despite the current trend of the internet of being emo. Relationships don't happen overnight. The current state of your relationship was a destination, a result of decisions you made all throughout. If you're lonely now, or if you are happy now, it was because of your decisions. Your choices. Choose happiness.
  5. Hello Sky of Sentosa. Welcome to Stars!

  7. We will have a separate Mars-based geology book. New mineral names, new types, etc. Geologists will scramble to have their names etched in history. Biologists will also be very busy writing Mars Bio 101. The Mars colony will finally eradicate human genetic problems like diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, cancer, obesity etc. to name a few. Elon Musk and his team will have a difficult task of selecting who to send to Mars. Will they compose a culturally diverse colony? Is there advantage in multi-culture? Who will enforce the law in Mars? Will it be the USA? So many questions to answer. If you were the right age, do you think you will be accepted to the Mars Colony? Why?
  8. This thread is dedicated to all the heroes who work in the BPO industry. If it weren't for this industry the Philippines might have economically sunk even deeper during the pandemic. Millions of families managed to survive the past year, and this year because of the people doing their jobs in bubbles and remote work. There are a lot of experiences that only a fellow agent can understand, we'd like to know about your stories. (chit-chat is allowed) 🙂
  9. Starship SN9 multi angle cameras from various sources. I waited for weeks, finally it launched!
  10. French woman declines Covid-19 vaccine for her sick father Article lifted from this link https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1389882/french-woman-declines-covid-19-vaccine-for-her-sick-father L’HOPITAL, France — Fabienne Garbo’s father suffers from an illness similar to Alzheimer’s and was eligible for a Covid-19 shot as soon as France started vaccinating care home residents. But she has not signed the consent form. Claude Garbo, 86, frequently fails to recognize his daughter and struggles to converse, reacting at times to German words after a life mostly spent in France’s eastern Lorraine region. He is unable to convey if he wishes to be inoculated against a disease that has killed more than 22,000 care home residents in France — nearly a third of all deaths. So his daughter Fabienne has decided for him. She told Reuters the development of coronavirus vaccines had been rushed by big pharmaceutical firms and might do more harm than good, with too many unanswered questions about potential side-effects and their efficacy against new variants. “I prefer to be cautious and protect my father rather than give him a vaccine about which we still know little,” Garbo said. “He risks catching the virus but it would be like any other disease.” Although France wants shots delivered faster than manufacturers and the state can supply them, the vaccine’s early rollout has been bogged down in red tape and onerous processes meant to reassure a dubious public. Refusal rates in nursing homes are at about 10%, according to the FEHAP care home federation. But the inability to inoculate all residents risks delaying the lifting of tight restrictions on outside visits and social interactions between residents. Citizens have to give their consent to a doctor before they are inoculated against the coronavirus. A family member or legal custodian must do so for those who cannot. Fabienne Garbo said she had scant faith in a mainstream medical establishment that scaremongered the public and was too close to pharmaceutical companies. “Are we not entering into a deep paranoia over this virus?” she asked. The World Health Organization has stressed the importance of rigorous checks on the effectiveness and safety of vaccines. Based on published vaccine trial data generated so far by Moderna, the BioNTech-Pfizer partnership and AstraZeneca, side effects have not been serious or long-lasting. Supporters of the vaccine for nursing home residents say it not only shields some of the most vulnerable from becoming sickened by COVID-19, but will also allow them to be hugged by loved ones again and socially engage with others. Families that refused Covid-19 shots for a relative with dementia typically did so because of their own prejudices, said Louis Matias, a representative of the FEHAP federation. It raised questions about how those who were not vaccinated would be cared for in the months ahead, including whether they should be segregated and denied access to visitors when homes re-open, he said. “That will be a problem. A problem of organization, and a problem for the conscience,” he said. Doctors say the separation from family and a lack of physical contact is taking a toll on the elderly. Garbo said she and her mother had often differed over vaccine safety after her mother fell ill following a flu jab. But on this occasion she had persuaded her mother it was right to refuse the vaccine. Asked what her father would have done, Garbo replied: “He would listen to his doctor. I’ve not had the opportunity to ask him.”
  11. What's it like? Do they make you sign NDA before joining the company?
  12. How to Appreciate Wife's Cooking Skills

  13. Sit properly, your body should be facing the table squarely. Elbows out, legs open not crossed. Your body should be open, ready to accept the goodness. Lean forward on every bite you do. Use both hands if it's eaten with bare hands, if it's eaten with utensils use spoon and fork. Eat the food while it's smoking hot, make sure you blow air to cool the food you're about to put into your mouth. Do not over fill your mouth. Smile after you swallow the first mouthful, and say your compliments. Short and simple praises is enough. Do not compare your wife's cooking to your mothers if your mother is a better cook than your wife. Do not say it's salty, or too sweet, or the taste is off. She already knows it, you don't need to give her feedback now. Feedbacks can be given after the plates are cleaned. Don't ask any questions on how she cooked it. She knows you don't mean asking questions. You will not remember the recipe even if she tells you how it was done. Eating a lot is the best compliment ever.
  14. This made me smile in the wee hours of the morning. Thank you.
  15. @UnclePlamo yes you can embed Youtube and other popular sites Tik tok embed also works
  16. Leave all devices in another area of the house. Don't bring cellphones to the eating table. You can take pictures of food but make sure you don't place your cellphone nearby. Turn off the television, turn down loud music. No gadgets in the table. Sit beside your wife, not in front. Serve your wife first. Scoop the rice from the pot onto her plate, if this is the first time you're doing it inform her that you would like to serve her first. Smile. Then you scoop rice for yourself. During the meal, when your wife is not holding her spoon or fork, surprise her by holding your wife's wrist, a light stroke down and up and then a light grip. Say something nice. Praise your children if they eat vegetables. Crack jokes, share with your children what you saw on YouTube etc. Don't ask children uncomfortable questions. You hated questions when you were a kid, your kids hate them too. Stay away from difficult topics like school work. Keep the conversation fun! Avoid placing soft drinks or any kind of beverage container on the eating table. This will encourage kids to eat more food prepared by your wife. Leave the dirty beverage containers in the kitchen. Volunteer to get your wife water or drinks when the meal is about to be concluded. Timing is key. Go to the kitchen and prepare her drinks. If its water ask if she wants it with ice or warm. After your wife is served you can then make your own glass of water or drink. Washing dishes will be another topic.
