  1. No. It will help you tremendously with new Knowledge and Techniques , efficient updates and other cost saving Methodology . As Department Manager i will only put a small weight on candidates whose CV is mostly OL classes. I check predominantly the work experience and specific functions assigned to him. OL Classes / Certificates is just like Extra Sweetener My 2 cents
  2. thats his cross to carry i already have my share of the weight
  3. in 2018 while i was supervising the clearing and demolition of debris in Marawi MAA ( Most Affected Areas ) , the Brigade Commander ( then Col Romeo Brawner ) asked if our company is interested in constructing a sheltered port in the contested WPS area . Back then , the company's exposure on DND / DOTR projects were minimal and while we are desperate need to acquire projects that has 1B capital , going to the WPS is something that we have to seriously consider. So i politely told him that i will discuss that matter my superiors since this type of transactions where mostly handled by someone way above my Pay Grade that weekend Colonel Brawner was invited to have breakfast with our VP , by lunch i was asked to join that quite discussion and ask my opinion about the mobilization of equipment and material to WPS . while i was very cautious with my response and impress to my superior that pro's and cons of the proposed project , it was clear that an initial arrangement was made. That week i chauffeured multiple Military Brass and DOTR dignitaries between CDO and Marawi inspecting the clearing and demolition activities i was conducting at MAA . Although they were mostly there to check our demolition and clearing methodology , the questions they asked where about the mobilization of equipment from Lanao Del Norte to the West Phil Sea. the ff week , i was instructed to fly to Manila to conduct a ocular inspection in Palawan . I was excited then since i have never been to Palawan before . my impression then was that we wil have a new Project in Mainland Palawan so i planned to make the most of it like a quick visit to Coron or El Nido , or the famous Honda Bay . after a two day stop at our makati Office i boarded a PAF Nomad plane from Villamor to Puerto PRincesa. there the Plane had engine trouble and i had to stay in Puerto Princesa until the plane is fixed . It was my first time in Puerto Princesa, so i plan to make the most of it . I explored Downtown Puerto Princessa by day and hit the clubs by night particularly the clubs in Junction 1 and Rizal Street . On my second day, realization came to me why the nature of my travel was more catered by the Military Assets , the plane i flew was PAF , the hotel that i stayed is frequented by the Navy and the office i was assigned was a building inside the Puerto Princesa International Airport Occupied by PAF / PN / DOTR and Provincial Engineering Office Technical Staff . My passing curiosity was answered when WESCOM U2 invited ( Invited since Im no longer in the Army, they cant order me around anymore ) me to attend a short Briefing . a briefing conducted by 1 Lt Colonel , 2 Captains and 1 very sexy 2LT. I was the only recipient of that briefing . and after a short phone call from my immediate superior , i hesitantly signed 3 different forms of NDA , had my security clearance re- instated and stern warnings that any unauthorized disclosure will meant sanction that might led to imprisonment or worse, Recalled to Active Military Service. After 2 months exploring the West Philippine Sea and working with the Task Force I have submitted a lengthy brief regarding how to address the staggering development of the WEst Phil Sea and the presence of unwanted guests. Our company bid and won the port Project in one of major islands in WPS and my infernal yet satisfying journey began . 2 years after , the issue in the WPS is still escalating , we now have a working port and ongoing construction of the PAF Base. i still havent visited El Nido and Coron or even Honda Bay . But i stayed 1 month in Tubbataha
  4. she found a a replacement and she is no longer happy hahahah
  5. they talked a lot like a whole lot requires great effort to listen to everything they say hearing them does not cut it , have to listen , analyze, react and to top up the complication , read her body language when they are talking . never remind her of the things she said when she is wrong. that is an invitation of a long arguement . if you own your own house , do not let her start changing curtains , else you will change the kitchen tabe as well and everything else . never ask permission to buy something for your own with your own money just as long as you buy something nice for her with 3 times the value of the item you purchased
  6. Makati Office gave me 2 bottles of 1 liter Tanduay Rhum for Hoilday Gift
  7. Im Genuinely happy for her . As long as she doesnt call or text me
  8. After a few years as Army Officer with the Engineering Brigade , i spent a decade working in the BPO Industry. While I can say that during my 4 year stint in the Army was a life changer , the 11 years in the BPO industry was generally Wild , Exciting and mostly stressful . On my 11th year , i decided that i will have to cut short my BPO adventures and started working for a company that shows a promising prospect in the mining and construction industry . In 2012 i was primarily station in Camarines Norte working as Admin Staff for Gold Mining Project , when there were issues about production discrepancies I was delegated to conduct an ad hoc performance and production evaluation . From an Admin Staff, I was Promoted to Process Engineer overnight . 11 months after I was hired I was the Process Implementation MAnager for the site and my Roller Coaster Career started from that point on. One of the good things about my work is that i travel a lot most of the time . Over the span of 10 years i have visited most of Southern Luzon, the Entirety of Northern Mindanao , most of the Islands of Tawi Tawi, about 3/4 of ARMM and the southern part of Palawan. I also stayed at the contested Waters of West Philippine Sea since i was stationed at Pagasa Island for about 10 month During the height of PAndeminc , despite the travel restrictions and ever changing Travel Guidelines , i was one of the few people in our company that was given special clearances to travel to active project sites . The only Quarantine that i experience was being confine to a One Star hotel at Tagbiliran Bohol for 1 one night , just so that i complied the provincial quarantine guidelines . While I am a firm believer about the dangers and how fatal Covid 19 presents I was really sure that i will not succumb to that disease . Because of the limited deployment of competent technical personnel , most of the site and department managerial functions were temporarily assigned to me by default . this method while practical and efficient, has slowly develop a mental strain on my part . im developing work insomnia , i have to drink significant amount of alcohol in order for me to have an 8 hour sleep and despite of training capable subordinates , i cant shake the feeling that somewhere in the work process , things will go awry . i have to exert extra effort just to be focus. from my own perspective , everything is not good enough , while i encourage my immediate subordinates to be creative and Innovative , i frown on their inefficient and untimely output . Maybe im just saturated with work or maybe i have not noticed that my added responsibility has changed my outlook without me noticing it . Im slowly becoming to a boss that i always avoided . can work really change a person ? or im just not used to having this amount of authority that want to impress my superiors rather than earning the respect of my subordinates and peers .
