I would like to think that I somehow inspired the script writer of the latest SMART commercial, staring Chris Evans but, THAT would be egotistical. Striving for good has always been the objective of many, I simply am one of the many who wish for good things, one of the many who choose to do good things. In fact, honestly, it is I who got inspired by the marvelous writers of the SMART advertising agency which happens to be DENTSU. Thank you for inspiring me. Changed my name again. Do Better.

The next set of people with high chance of winning the next election have already made up their minds. I do not see any of the presidentiables as a solution. I hope I'm wrong.

Being different, more so a Pinoy, and embracing it is what motivates me. 🙂 This realization came to me early in my career in the technical field that was dominated by mostly Caucasians here in the US. And the fact that everyday is a battle to show my worth and prove, beyond my color and accent, that I am their peer and an integral part of the team. My different background and values as a Pinoy bring something extra to the table and more often than not, those little extras make a big difference in work ethics that gets things done and bring results. It's true that Asians in general are typecast to be hard workers and are reliable professionals. But then it's those traits that helps in getting the visibility and recognition that paves the way to career advancement and professional growth. I always believe that with dedication and determination, one does not only grow but also bloom wherever planted. 😄

So far, OK pa ang level ng utang ng Pinas kumpara sa ibang bansa. Nararamdaman ko ba na may improvement? Oo. Noong 2013-2015 sa Ortigas ako nagtatrabaho, every week meron nahoholdap, nasa-saksak - withdraw Lang sa ATM. Noong mga 2010s, sobrang lala ng trapik sa EDSA at C5, tumigil na ako sumakay ng MRT kasi sobrang dami Tao at lagi nasisiraan. Mas mababa income tax na binabayaran ko ngayon. Mas mabilis na internet... Kahit papaano may improvement naman. Php 10 trillion na utang ng Pinas - OK pa tayo. Ang USA $27 trillion utang.

If I'm not mistaken, the total debt stock has reached its current level because of the borrowings of multiple administrations. Economic managers of the current administration has stated that the debt level is manageable and I hope they're right about it. This country has potential. If we play our cards right, paying off the debt shouldn't be a problem.

Will the next set please let me in on how you plan to control this

I do not agree with systematic silencing of the academe. It is the academe itself who wants to silence other beliefs. The academe claims and defends academic freedom but they are the ones who are devoid of that. Only leftists have a voice in the academe. If you are a left then you are IN. Centrists and rightists ideas are not welcome and do not have a voice in the academe even if they are the majority.
