Good thing starbucks is still open to make me feel better. Thankful for that one small positive thing today.

sm sucat made me sad today.

I went there to get curtains that were on sale yesterday... They are no longer on sale.

Went to get highlighters, they were out of stock.

Went to buy at a specific store , they are already closed. 😞

today's errand is a massive failure.

As a reward for today's work and the sleepless nights I endured this week to meet the deadline..

I'm turning 39 in a few weeks. I'm not satisfied with what I have achieved so far. Still loads of things to do. And getting closer and closer to 40, I have a sense of panic that my time is running out. My consolation is that finally, I'm on the right path. I have a job I love and that pays well.  I hope this upward trend continues so I can achieve some of the things I've set out to do. I hope when I turn 40, I can say I'm happy with how my life has turned out

Instant noodles while cramming for a deadline. I managed to finish two out of three projects due today and now cramming to finish the third due at 11am.

No sleep. No rest. But at least, I have my noodles.

I had an Atari. I would play whatever is in the 64-in-1 cartridge.  Mostly the battlestar galactica, contra, pacman, skiing(forgot the name).

Then my uncle bought a family computer for my cousin and we started playing tetris.

Eventually, mom bought my first desktop when I was in highschool and I can spend long nights playing minesweeper.

Then, I discovered MMORPG.  First MMORPG bus Pirate King Online. Then moved to Rose Online, Perfect World, etc.  Fast forward years after, I started playing Cabal.

Im.now a retired "gamer". 

I find Tinder boring. Uninstalled it right away.

I'm trying out Coffee meets Bagels. It is supposed to be a curated matching app. Gives you 9-10 possible matches based on your preferences. 

Had a couple of matches but only one person has started a conversation so far.  CMB, I think, is more catered to folks who want a long term relationship rather than a casual hook up.

Nag bloat batteries... Had to take out batteries and buy new phone. 

I'm the breadwinner. Too much sad story here. 

I've sacrificed too much and get very little in return. It has been close to a decade since my family celebrated my birthday.

Last year, they acted like it was an ordinary day. So when my colleagues surprised me with a cake and lunch out to celebrate, I cried. I felt so sorry for myself.

I wanted to do things but everything is on hold. You out your dreams on the shelf so you can help your family fulfill theirs. 

This pandemic has deprived me of an escape since I can't go out. 10 months of being stuck at home and now I'm seeing a counselor for depression.

It is sad because my family should have been supporting me achieve my dreams, instead they broke me.

I gave away my one and only funko pop of the 10th Doctor from Doctor Who. But I'm planning on starting a collection as soon as I finish home renovations. 

The photo below is not funko pop but it uses the same material. It is 9-10 inches tall and I got it from SM's bargain bin for only 270 pesos.  This is supposed to be a video game character. 

Shopee has a new loyalty program.... Shocked at how "comfortable" I am with shopee...

This also made me sad. I looked at how much I'm paying the government in mandatory contributions and taxes on a month to month basis... It is close to 15-16k/month.  

And then I realize since I'm middle-class I'm not a priority in any government programs that middle-class taxes helped fund.

Also, i started treating someone as a friend but that someone doesn't see me as one.

Anybody tried Pink's? I saw a video by Erwan Heussaff and he recommended Pink's.
