  1. My birthname sucks because my younger cousins have the same name as I do. My screen name resonates a TV show I’ve watched when I was a kid. I like my screen name a lot because my work entails towards those ungodly hours and yonder.

Screen names are used to make us more accessible in the Internet world, maybe someone who has the same interests as yours.

  2. Culture shock is moving to the United States. And working with different people in different states. Understanding accents in different regions. ( Call center people can relate)

The portions of food are HUGE and inexpensive. Unfortunately this country doesn't have fat pigs, pork is too lean.

Taxes are different in every state. The most expensive is living in Los Angeles. You have to pay for up to $10k a year in California. My tax is a measly $1400 every end of the year, it includes my cars, my home, the school and the school bus.

Another thing also there are people who had never gone to school EVER even if the public school system is relatively free for every kid who is willing to get up in the morning.

Lastly the fetishizing of Asian women lead me to very interesting experiences, frequently being glared at all the time by women and being stared by young and old men.

  3. The best advice is don't settle.

Don't settle down unless you've got enough to keep aside without your significant person knowing it.

    I was referring towards money.

We were 'indoctrinated' in believing that we HAVE to share everything to our partner, everything we have, every iota we have in our body even! but you really have to protect yourself when your marriage is going to fall apart in probably....for the next 10 years or so.

If you've been married for 2 decades - Good for you! You still have to put something away for yourself!

What about a future investment? a future business deal perhaps? Buying that car you've been lusting about for 10 years now?

A spouse is a spouse. Society dictates to you - be a good father, pay your kid's tuition in private schools, provide a good home and vacations or probably buy your wife something fancy- those F shoes she wanted or that F Marc Jacobs.

Anyway, my point is that save money. Save enough to build on, SAVE IT in another account even!

Do not give everything to your spouse.

I think i've made my point. LOL.

And lastly, Don't just settle with a person who would make you feel bad all the time. Mental Illness is real! and you have one life - don't put up with anybody who is bad for you and your career!.

    There you go!

  4. Daft Punk have decided to part ways after 27 years and this is probably one of the best songs in their last album 8 years ago.

I miss you, let's talk again soon 🥰

And we will never be alone again
'Cause it doesn't happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
'Cause I know it unlocks like a door

  5. Hi Pooh Bear.

It's funny, our first Valentines together yet we're far apart. The movie was cornball but your company was superb.

A heart on the run keeps a hand on the gun
    It can't trust anyone
I was so sure what I needed was more
Tried to shoot out the sun
In days when we raged, we flew off the page
    Such damage was done
But I made it through, 'cause somebody knew
    I was meant for someone

So girl, leave your boots by the bed
    We ain't leavin' this room
    'Til someone needs medical help
    Or the magnolias bloom
It's cold in this house and I ain't goin' out to chop wood
So cover me up and know you're enough
    To use me for good

Put your faith to the test when I tore off your dress
    In Richmond on high
I sobered up, I swore off that stuff
    Forever this time
    And the old lovers sing
"I thought it'd be me who helped him get home"
But home was a dream, one I'd never seen
    'Til you came along

So girl, hang your dress up to dry
    We ain't leavin' this room
'Til Percy Priest breaks open wide
    And the river runs through
Carries this house on the stones like a piece of drift wood
Cover me up and know you're enough
    To use me for good

So girl, leave your boots by the bed
    We ain't leavin' this room
    'Til someone needs medical help
    Or the magnolias bloom
It's cold in this house and I ain't goin' out to chop wood
So cover me up and know you're enough
    To use me for good

Cover me up and know you're enough
    To use me for good

  6. When you look outside the window, the 12th floor of the hotel and you see the thick clouds of people walking from opposite sides of the avenue - you tend to wonder if one of those clouds of people could be your future hubby or what not. You fling the blinds and turn off the tv and you lay in bed with the goose - feathered pillows and you're lonely.

There was this guy you really, really liked and you pretty much owe him an explanation.

Will he talk to you again? I hope so.

  7. I think the thing i miss the most is Not to F Care about wearing this stupid mask. We've come long ways from the Spanish flu and with the technology that we have currently in the bacterial studies and the medical field, I'm wondering why it took months to figure into making the vaccine. Or worse, it could be political motivated. To be honest, ( in my most humble opinion) people look stupid wearing a mask!

Has anyone ever told you " Hey Sugar, your mask looks, sexy! Where did you get that from?".

Secondly, the education of our children is faltering. How the do they learn through online education? I wouldn't bat an eyelash if i'd tell the school Principal to have my daughter repeat 5th Grade because Guys, we have to be kidding ourselves - Most kids won't give a rat's bum about school unless they see their friends!

Thirdly, the parties. Currently the Mayor from the City of Pines resigned because of Tim Yap's flamboyant party. I miss the parties but why isn't Tim Yap should be given a week stay at the Baguio City Jail for none compliance? Why would the Mayor have to do this? Put Tim Yap in a cage so there!

Lastly what do we miss the most? is to travel abroad and not care about F masks. To be able to stay in a hotel not to be discriminated on which state you're from. Especially in New York City.

A few months ago as i was about to check into my hotel, the concierge asked me where i came from and i said I'm  from the Midwest. New York City has strict regulations on banning people from several states for coming because of the surge of Covid 19.

He looked at me and said " I hope you'd enjoy your stay". And handed me the paperwork and i rolled away with my luggage.

Despite of where i came from, it's still business as usual.

  8. The cheeseburger i love is the Mc Donald's Quarter Pounder with cheese.

My favorite chicken is in a place called Stroud's - it makes pan fried chicken. stroudsweb2.jpg.e0b837f5d831aa659c97b01c27f31033.jpgTh

They use an iron skillet for cooking and nothing is more crunchy and more delicious than this baby. The restaurant opens at 4 in the afternoon till 9 and it's always sold- out.

    Fries : Mcdonalds.

The good thing about their fries is that the potatoes are grown in Idaho. The spuds are their gold mine!

  9. Bryan Cranston's Breaking Bad to Showtime ' Your Honor'

The best appearance to date from Bryan Cranston would probably be the Super Bowl. Last year, Mountain Dew dragged in Bryan Cranston from vaca and got a 40 seconder - playing Jack Torrance and the creepy twins too.

Everyone loves the Dew, the Kansas City Chiefs won after 50 years of being a dud of a team .everybody relishes on Bryan Cranston on Breaking Bad and the series currently showing on Showtime entitled " Your Honor" would probably earn him another Emmy yet!

The deal of this show is that it tackles with a Judge from New Orleans would do anything to save his son from going to prison, the kid accidentally rowed a motorcycle  rider with his ancient station wagon one fine day, later on, both of them realized that the  victim is the son of a violent mobster.

This show has a lot of twists abound as i held my warm blanket and cold feet watching Bryan's lines on his forehead giving birth to one after another. It's gripping, It's Terrific!

  10. Advertising Executive. I write copies for different companies. Honestly, i don't know how people can get to be in the Advertising field these days. Probably having an english degree or a liberal arts degree would suffice. You have to be open with current stuff like social media, music and movies. You gotta have to read a lot of books too. Just immersing yourself with words.

after this weekend's wildcard games, interesting matchups and storylines for next week's divisional round.

more eager to see how the NFC side plays out. Brady vs Brees then I want to see Brady vs Rodgers (fingers-crossed).

still bummed by PIT losing to CLE earlier.

Brady and Mahomes will be at the Superbowl for sure!

  12. I think there were sacrifices that i’ve made that made my life a whole lot better. If i would follow what my relatives had advised and think of what is best for me, i wouldn’t be where i am today. I rememberedwhen i was 11 years old, one of my Aunts asked me what i wanted to do when i grow up - I wanted to be a writer, i replied and they made fun of me. Nobody would want to marry a WRITER! they taunted. So my journey began for not listening to their advice anymore and my mindset gave me the determination to work on what i wanted to do for myself, working for myself and improving myself. With so much going in my homelife - i decided to leave home after i graduated highschool and become a working student. At 18 i got a job from an Ad Agency and worked my through. I didn’t look back. I was gone from home for 20 years.

People often procastinate about what they wanted to do, what life would have been or if my parents would have been kinder or either would have been there for my graduation. Everybody have a lot of issues and most of the people drown themselves with their anxiety and aims for perfection.

I’m sorry if i’ve said my piece too long but hear me out as a big sister to a lot of young people who are struggling.

YOU ARE ENOUGH. You are a survivor of all the chaos that happened in your life. All those lousy relationship decisions you’ve had and jobs that you wish you could have.

You got what it takes to thriveand make it into the day with only enough money in your pocket. You can work things through with your issues by getting better. There are tons of resources out there than can help you.

Fix your bed, clean your room, stand straight and take a good hike.
