  1. TIME  - Hootie & The Blowfish

"Time, why do you walk away? Like a friend with somewhere to go You left me crying

Can you teach me about tomorrow And all the pain and sorrow Running free?

Cause tomorrow's just another day And I don't believe in time"

  2. Just reminiscing from my days in Las PInas while working at then  Phillips Semi-conductors .... Carl's Jr.

I have tried the one near our place here in Houston but the taste somehow does not compare - by a mile, to the burgers I've had at Las Pinas during those times i finish work late and got no time to cook dinner at my boarding house.

Also, I was a pioneer crew at the Mac Donalds' Baguio while in college so I could tell Carl's was a step-up from the ubiquitous Big-Mac or the Quarter Pounder. 😄

  3. I had a dream that is so vivid that it woke me up wishing that it were true.

I was back in my home town driving up hill on that familiar winding road to the Lourdes Grotto and making my way up to Quirino Hill and to your house along Tacay Rd.

I was making haste  towards a rendezvous with a most special girl for our first date  and a night out on the town- not knowing it would be our last. However it feels like no matter how i step on the gas the car just move slowly and even felt to go slower by the minute.

After what it seems like an eternity, i finally pulled into your driveway but to my horror, my watch tells me that  I'm  several hours late.  I rushed to your door and desperately rang your bell. It was so nerve wracking waiting at the door and fearful that you may not even open it.

And yet again after what seems like a lifetime, the door opened and there you were , the most beautiful girl in the world to me.  I stammered for an excuse but you simply took my hand and said , I was not late and that the each time we meet is as what is planned in our lives...and it is just perfect.

We saw each other again the following weekend  at a wedding with her looking as resplendent as ever - as one of my wife's bride's maids.

If i could turn back the clock, it'll be back to that night when i held you in my hands dear baby Jean and I would smash the clock hoping time would stop.

  4. Getting to know a person you care about  is a life long process. The things that one likes or hates may change down the road as life evolves and new experiences  good and bad mold a persons physical, mental and emotional  well being through the years.

There is one saying that I know will always hold true -  That the only permanent thing in life is change.

Baby Jean, my pearl, that  last time we parted and you held my hand tight and seemingly asking me to stop you from getting in the car and drive away.  I should have not let  go and instead pulled you close to me to be never ever be apart.

If you read this, first love rarely becomes the one you spend your lifetime with, but what they say is true... It never dies.

Baby Jean, you just had your birthday a few days ago and like we always joke about - that each year, you turn 4-ever young. 😄

Wishing you are at the happiest point in your life. Miss you so much... 😞

  6. I'm a big Alan Parsons fan and below is an song from Al Stewart that was produced by Alan Parsons.

The Year of the Cat - Al Stewart

"She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running. Like a watercolour in the rain. Don't bother asking for explanations. She'll just tell you that she came In the year of the cat

She doesn't give you time for questions. As she locks up your arm in hers And you follow 'till your sense of which direction Completely disappears"
